Charges Filed in Manassas Park Double Shooting

Charges have been filed against a Manassas man in connection to today shooting that left two wounded.
Police said Blerand Hoxha, 34, of Cabot Court in Manassas, shot a 22-year-old and a 46-year-old male at a Sheetz convenience store on Va. 28 in Manassas Park this afternoon.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police did not release details of their condition.
Hoxha faces charges of malicious wounding, use of a weapon in commission of a felony, and with shooting into an occupied vehicle, according to Manassas Park police spokeswoman Karen Barton.
Police did not say what prompted the shooting. Hoxha is expected to appear in court January 17.

Two people were shot this afternoon at a Sheetz convenience store in Manassas Park.

Manassas Park Police received a call of a shooting at the Sheetz convenience store. Preliminary information is two victims were shot and have been transported to Prince William Hospital by ambulance. A suspect is in custody.
With the assistance of Prince William County and Manassas City Police, the investigation is still on-going. Information will be updated as it is received.
1:30 p.m.
Police in are on the scene of a shooting that reportedly occurred today in Manassas Park.
At least one person was flown to a hospital from Parkside Middle School on Mathis Avenue.
Police officers from Manassas are assisting officers in Manassas Park, said Manassas police Sgt. Lowell Nevill.
Police in Manassas Park police could not immediately provide details.
